Install is underway at this oceanfront home in Hawai‘i, and the design is all about the view. Series 8100 multi slide doors open every room to the water, Series 6000 windows pull natural light deep into the vaulted spaces, and the sightlines carry straight from the front door to the reef.

Yesterday’s PaliBu Resource & Recovery Expo was the last one of 2026, and we’re so grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth. Whether you’re just starting to plan or you’re deep into your rebuild, it was a privilege to talk through your projects, answer questions about our WUI-compliant capabilities, and see so many neighbors showing up for each other.

A big thank you to the PaliBu Chamber for hosting, and to all the rebuild professionals, architects, engineers, and support resources who made the day such a valuable one for the community.

Making an impact on the islands 🌺

One of our first shipments of impact-rated windows and doors is packed, strapped, and on its way to Hawaii! We’ve been proud to bring AWAA products to the islands for a while now. Adding impact-rated product means we can serve even more projects there, where homes need to stand up to serious coastal weather.

A big milestone for our team, and a huge mahalo to everyone who built, wrapped, and loaded this container with care. Every unit was packed so it would arrive ready to perform.

Another month, another LOOP Meeting, and another chance to connect and celebrate with our team!

This month, we welcomed new employees (Daniel Bewernitz, Juan Jimenez, John Lassiter, Jeffery Manibot, Daniel Randall, Muhammad Sherad), celebrated our wins and improvements, and recognized our outstanding employees (John Robinson - EOTM) and departments (Casement Sealing takes home the championship belt!).

We also honored two incredible milestones: 10 years of service for Scott Gingras and Maria Gonzales. A decade of dedication. We are incredibly grateful to have a team as committed and loyal as we do.

To our entire AWAA family, thank you. We couldn’t do it without you!

In celebration of manufacturing day, we opened our doors to students from Buckingham Collegiate Charter Academy for a behind-the-scenes look at how a custom window or door comes to life.

From our IGU line to inventory management, they followed the full journey: aluminum extrusion in, fabrication and assembly across the floor, and finished product loaded onto a truck headed to the customer.

What stood out most was seeing the connection click. Some of these students already use the same tools and safety practices in the classroom that our team relies on every day to keep the floor clean, efficient, and safe. Watching them see those lessons running at full scale, and hearing the thoughtful questions that followed, was the best part of the day.

Thank you to Buckingham's students and staff for spending the morning with us. We can't wait to see what this next generation of makers and builders goes on to do.

Framing the view on a ridge above a reservoir in Escondido. 🌄

This hillside residence called for precision from the ground up. Our partners at delivered a fire-resilient, steel-framed SAFE™ structural envelope with every window and door opening manufactured to tight tolerances off-site. The result was zero field adjustments when our windows and doors went in. On a site with a single switchback access road and no room for a second delivery, that kind of fit is everything.

Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and aluminum-framed windows open the home to sweeping backcountry views and rolling hills beyond the horizon. Slim sightlines keep the focus on the landscape, and durable aluminum stands up to the demands of an exposed ridge-top site.

This project is a great example of what happens when the whole team is aligned from day one. Big thanks to 4C Construction Systems, Palm Coast Design Build, and Campbell Architects for bringing this one to life.

We loved hosting the City of Vacaville's Leadership Development Class of 2026 for a tour of our manufacturing facility! 🏭

This group of rising leaders represents departments across city government: Police, Fire, Economic Development, Building & Planning, Parks & Recreation, Accounting & Finance, Public Works, and more. As part of their leadership training, they're visiting local facilities and businesses to see firsthand how what they do impacts the community they serve.

Thank you for coming out and taking the time to learn about what we do here at AWAA, it was great connecting with the people shaping the future of Vacaville. 🙌
