Jake found out that one of our clients was a well-known drummer. So he did not just show up with a crew and a bucket of paint. He showed up with a pair of drumsticks, had them put in a glass case with a saying on them that meant something to this drummer personally, and delivered them as a gift.

Unreasonable Hospitality starts within the team. 🧦🎨

And sometimes that looks like a brand-new pair of socks.

Josh gave Jimmy a gift at our last team meeting. And Jimmy had to explain why he needed them.

He was walking a waterproofing and painting project for an HOA when the board treasurer invited him in to take a look at a balcony. Beautiful home. The kind where you naturally slip your shoes off at the door.

So Jimmy did. And he did not look down.

The treasurer did, though. And started laughing.

Jimmy had no idea what was happening until he looked down himself. A giant hole in his sock, courtesy of his 10-month-old puppy who has apparently decided that Jimmy's socks are his personal chew toys.

The treasurer looked at him and said, "Do I need to send an email to make sure you are getting compensated enough to buy some new socks?" 😂

So Josh made sure he was.

This is what we call the Painting Happiness experience. 💙

While our team was on site painting this home, we got to know the family a little better and learned that their son loved playing volleyball but didn’t have many people to play with.

So Noah, the salesman and estimator on the project, invited him to come play volleyball with him.

He came out, had a great time, and made some new friends. 🏐
