Floor plan reviews!

A closer look inside one of this year’s Parade of Homes! 🏡

This past Tuesday, Brokerworks agent Zach Robinson took us through a Steiner Homes build at Stonebridge in Valparaiso during the 2026 Fall Parade of Homes.
We also got an inside look at the thought and craftsmanship behind the home from Adam Steiner of Birnam Design Co. and Dan Steiner, owner of Steiner Homes LTD. From the design choices to the building process, they shared some of the details that helped bring this home together.

As both a Brokerworks agent and Steiner Homes Sales Agent, Zach brings firsthand knowledge of the building process to buyers considering new construction in Northwest Indiana.

Take a look inside and see what Steiner Homes brought to this year’s Parade of Homes!

I think it’s vastly understated how important the team of pros you hire on your build.

The best projects don’t just come from talent — they come from the right team. The kind that’s insanely good at what they do and a joy to work with.

Working alongside Abbe Murray of .co means every design decision is thoughtful, intentional, and honestly… brilliant. She has a rare ability to see the whole picture and make it better than I could have imagined.

And I was college roommates with Zach Smith of .mountain.builders - he is the kind of builder every client hopes they’ll get. He's a deep well of knowledge, but not only that I've seen his steady character and honesty over the years.

All of this AND they're fun people to be around. It's not a dread to jump on a meeting with them and hang out for a few minutes. I think through all that you end up with a final product that's simply better.

Something youre gonna see a lot more in building assemblies and code conversations is fire protective materials. I have a house coming up in Colorado where we'll have some new code requirements on this. has come out with a new wall panel to address the code updates. I'll have a video with a rep coming soon with more info.
