The best part of this work is hearing how it went from the people we did it for. 🙌

If you've worked with Stone Pillar on a rebuild, remodel, or tenant improvement, we'd be grateful if you shared your experience on our BBB Business Profile at BBB.org. Honest feedback, good or constructive, helps the next family or property manager decide, and it helps us keep getting better.

And a question for our local property managers and landlords: heading into the wet season, what's the one repair request you see most often? Leaking water heaters, clogged gutters, window seals? Tell us in the comments. We'll share the most common answers (and what to watch for) next week.

Thank you for trusting us with your property. 🔨

From water damage to fresh rebuild today. 🔨

This room started with exposed studs, drying equipment, and a long list of repairs. Now it’s on its way back to clean, finished, and functional.

That’s the kind of transformation we take pride in. If you’re facing a rebuild or insurance reconstruction project, reach out and let’s talk.

Anyone can say "trust us." Here's what we'd rather show you. 📋

When you're choosing a contractor for a rebuild, these are fair things to ask for:

✅ A license you can look up. Ours: Washington STONEPC764LG and Oregon CCB 261698
✅ Moisture readings and documentation that back up the scope of work
✅ A written scope and estimate that your adjuster can actually review
✅ BBB accreditation, because we want our business practices open to scrutiny

We are not public adjusters, and we never promise a claim outcome. What we do promise is clear communication, careful documentation, and workmanship we're proud to put our name on.

Property managers, landlords, and homeowners across Clark County and the Portland area: if you're comparing contractors, message us. We're glad to answer your questions, including the tough ones.

Rebuilding a kitchen or bath after a loss? You get to ask a bigger question: what should it look like when it's done. 🔨

Most contractors do either insurance repairs or remodeling. We do both, under one roof and one licensed contractor.

That means:
✅ The covered repair is scoped and documented properly, and we communicate with your adjuster about it
✅ Anything you want beyond the claim (new cabinetry, updated flooring, a better layout) is priced separately and clearly, so you always know what is what
✅ One crew and one point of contact from first walkthrough to final punch list

Some of the best kitchens and baths we build start as a bad week. No pressure either way. We're happy to talk through what's possible and what makes sense for your budget.

Signing a lease is the easy part. Opening on time is the hard part. 🏗️

If you're a business owner or property manager planning a tenant improvement in Vancouver or the Portland metro, these four questions save the most headaches:

✅ What is the permit timeline for this city and this scope?
✅ Does the space need accessibility upgrades before or during the build?
✅ How old is the building, and what might be behind the walls?
✅ Do the existing utilities actually fit the new layout?

Getting honest answers before demolition starts is what keeps budgets and opening dates realistic. We're a licensed general contractor in both Washington (STONEPC764LG) and Oregon (CCB 261698), so we can walk a space with you on either side of the river and tell you what we see.

Have a space in mind? Message us and let's take a look together.

Water damage repair starts long before paint. 🏠

The real work is in the build-back, moisture checks, and making sure nothing gets missed.
We also help communicate the process with adjusters, so the path forward stays clear.

The drying equipment is running. So what happens next? 🔧

After a water loss, most people hear a lot about the first 48 hours. Far fewer hear about the stretch between "everything is dry" and "everything is rebuilt." That gap is where projects stall.

Here's the path we walk clients through in Clark County and the Portland area:

✅ Mitigation: water is extracted and the structure is dried and verified with moisture readings
✅ Scope: the damaged materials (drywall, baseboard, flooring, cabinetry) are listed in writing, with finish levels
✅ Estimate: priced so your insurance adjuster can review it line by line
✅ Rebuild: one licensed general contractor puts the space back together

Coverage decisions always belong to your insurance carrier. Our job is a clear scope, honest documentation, and direct communication with your adjuster so the rebuild keeps moving.

Dry-out finished and wondering what comes next? Send us a message and we'll talk you through it.

Big news from the Stone Pillar crew! 📰 We're now Accredited with the Better Business Bureau.

For us, that's more than a logo. It's a public commitment to the way we already try to work every day:

✅ Clear, honest communication from estimate to final walkthrough
✅ Quality workmanship on every project
✅ Standing behind our word with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients

Trust is earned one project at a time, and we're proud to have another way for our neighbors in Vancouver, Clark County, and the Portland area to see how we do business.

What does a licensed general contractor actually put in a reconstruction scope? 🏗️

Walls opened up, drying equipment running, and a lot of questions about what comes next. This is the stage where a clear scope of work matters most.

A good rebuild scope spells out:
✅ Exactly which materials are being replaced (drywall, insulation, baseboard, flooring, cabinetry)
✅ Finish level, so the repair matches the rest of the home or space
✅ Sequence and timeline, so everyone knows what happens when
✅ Pricing broken out in a way an adjuster can review

We build ours in writing, share it with you and your adjuster, and keep you updated as the job moves along.

Licensed in both states:
Washington Contractor License: STONEPC764LG
Oregon CCB License: 261698
