Strawberry plant trial conducted by Ashley Valley Greenhouse, Vernal, Utah spring of 1999. All plants started in 4 inch by 4 inch plastic containers.
All three plants given same amount of water and fertilizer. Plant C had to be transferred to larger container at about six weeks. Plant "A" acts as the control receiving the same fertilizer (Peters 20-20-20) on a weekly basis as other plants. Plant "B" received Root & Soil at transplanting and a once a week application for four weeks (rate 3 oz per 100 gallons of water). Then the greenhouse switched to Foliare at the same rate for addition 4 weeks.
Plant "C" received same fertilizer as plants A & B but twice the rate of Root & Soil and Foliare (3 oz per 100 gallons of water twice weekly.)
