We recently completed hardscape maintenance for a client in the Johns Island community, encompassing thorough surface cleaning, targeted treatment of staining and discoloration, repair of open or cracked grout joints, and filling of larger holes on stone tiles. The process was concluded with a heavy application of Drytreat Stainproof penetrating sealer. Outdoor limestone surfaces can be particularly challenging to maintain and keep stain-free. Regularly scheduling professional cleaning and penetrating sealer applications can significantly enhance the ease of maintenance, longevity, and aesthetic appeal of these surfaces. Without the benefits of a penetrating sealant, mold and mildew formations can become increasingly difficult to manage, and these surfaces will become more porous and absorbent over time.

Our technicians recently performed maintenance on these floors at the Windsor community beach club. The shellstone floors were machine scrubbed with a pH neutral cleaner, while high-traffic walkways were treated with an alkaline cleaning solution. Larger holes were repaired with a color matching grout, followed by the application of a penetrating sealer and buffing. In the tile bathrooms, all tiles and grout joints were scrubbed, then treated with a penetrating sealer and buffed.

We resurfaced these travertine floors for a customer in the Moorings community. We cleaned using a pH neutral solution, repaired holes with a color matching resin, diamond honed to remove surface scratches and visible wear, compounded to achieve a consistent satin finish, and then applied a penetrating sealer for protection.

We recently completed a comprehensive renovation of this master bathroom stone shower enclosure and floor for a customer in the Grand Harbor community. The bathroom floor underwent a meticulous process of cleaning, diamond honing, and compounding to achieve a uniform high-satin finish, followed by the application of a penetrating sealer. The shower enclosure was thoroughly cleaned, removing any buildup of soap residue and treating any darkened grout joints. We resurfaced the seat and floor to a consistent finish, replaced missing or discolored grout in several areas, and applied a penetrating sealer to all surfaces.

We resurfaced this decorative black and white marble mosaic wall for a customer in the Orchid Island community. These small tiles can have many sharp, raised edges after installation which resurfacing helps minimize and provide a much smoother surface. We used a specialized diamond grinding technique to smooth raised edges, a 7-step diamond honing process, polished, and applied two coats of penetrating sealer.

Soapstone countertops can be a striking addition to any kitchen, but their soft surface requires meticulous maintenance to prevent scuffs, scratches, and dulling. Our restoration process involved thorough cleaning, a multi-step diamond honing process to eliminate scuffs and scratches, compounding to achieve a uniform satin finish, and application of an enriching penetrating sealer to enhance the rich, black color of these surfaces. We also included the sink portion for this customer.

We just concluded work on this recent installation of unfilled travertine flooring for a customer in the Windsor community. We meticulously cleaned the surface to eliminate dust and debris, filled holes and grout joints with matching grout, then diamond honed and compounded to achieve a uniform honed finish. Lastly, we applied a penetrating sealer from Drytreat to complete the project.

We then completed a two-step compounding process to achieve a crisp, high-satin finish, and applied a penetrating sealer from Drytreat to provide long-term protection.

Our expert technicians used diamond grinding to eliminate deep scratches, followed by diamond honing and wet compounding to achieve a uniform, honed or low satin finish. Finally, we applied two coats of Drytreat Stainproof penetrating sealer to ensure lasting protection.

This customer is in the process of building a new home in the central beach community. We transformed their kitchen countertops and fireplace from polished to honed quartzite! We used a specialized diamond grinding process to remove the factory polished finish, which is extremely hard! We then diamond hone and compound to achieve a consistent honed finish. Finally, we sealed it with two coats of Drytreat Stainproof penetrating sealer. We completed this same process on all edges, vertical backsplash sections, and fireplace.
