Don’t wait for the snow to hit before you get your snow blowers repaired, tuned up, carburetors repaired, fuel lines. The last few winters have been mild and they have been sitting with old fuel clogging them up! Don’t throw them to the curb assuming the worst! It can be repaired and at a great price

Training the mechanics from other shops again today. I found the opportunity to pull a pump off a Honda power washer that was very low on oil and water leaked into it causing lock up. Tearing it down, looking over the main issue, explaining what to look for in pump failure and showing them how to replace bearings and seals. Granted it did not need put back together, but it can be much easier to visualize as it’s being broken down than learn from a piece of paper and get nowhere.

Blower had a small wire issue. Customer was going to buy a new one today. I cleaned and greased all the points, quick soldering, motor cleaning and saved him a lot of money! Most places have STIHL mechanics, BUT nobody to train them how to properly diag and repair, so they assume it’s broken. Not me, I specialize in STIHL, but also have a dozen other certifications and take EXTREME pride in my repair times to assure customers get back to their projects.

If your pressure washer isn’t building pressure it doesn’t mean the pump is bad. This one here had a small plastic ring break causing it to let water flow and not build pressure. Similar to a radiator thermostat breaks.
