🎃THE FAMOUS QUESTION…🎃
We get this question ALL the time, so here are a few simple tips to help keep your pumpkins looking their best all season long!
🧼Give them a bath!
Wash your pumpkins with a water + bleach solution to help remove dirt and bacteria. Don’t use a sponge or brush, scrubbing can damage the pumpkin’s skin and create spots where rot can start.
✨ Seal them up!
You can spray your pumpkins with a clear sealer to help protect the outside and give them a little extra shine.
☀️Watch the sun!
Just like us, pumpkins can get a little sunburned! Keeping them out of direct sunlight can help prevent fading and discoloration.
💦 Keep them dry!
If your pumpkins get wet from rain, dew, or watering, give them a quick wipe down. Excess moisture especially around the stem can lead to stem rot.
🎃 And our biggest tip… HANDLE WITH CARE!
Pumpkins are tough, but bruises, cuts, and damaged skin can shorten their life.
