It’s not everyday the SMT team gets to work in our hometown of Vincent Al. Today we got the privilege to work at the same school we attended and our kids go to currently. It was an honor and a privilege to build this little wall around our kids new weight room. Talk about a full circle moment. We truly appreciate our friends at Rock Hardscapes for subbing this job to us. It just wouldn’t have been right for anyone else to do this one.

Throwback from 2023 of SMT taking on a seemingly impossible job!! Where there us a will there us a way. To God be the glory! Located in Inverness AL eagle point subdivision. There is always a way to make it work. Sometimes you have to think outside of the box to figure it out. SMT Hardscapes was only company willing to come up with a solution for these homeowners. Thankfully we were able to provide a permanent solution for a major concrete wall failure with seemingly impossible access.

We were able to squeeze this in just in time for the the tropical storm. SMT team did a flawless job on this commercial project. Product used is anchor diamond pro block. 7 ft tall 280 ft long. We are proud to do our part for the new future rec center in Sylacaga AL. Let us know if we can help design/build that project you’ve been considering. No job too big or too small. SMT team wrapped up this encapsulation wall this week. The old wall that hold up these apartments is right under the foundation of the structure. We had the build a new wall 12 ft in front of the old one. Sometimes it’s the only way. We used Geostone g10 block to build the wall 19ft at the tallest point. When then added a aluminum railing behind the wall. There were 3 large trees that had to be removed as well.

Wall 2 completed!! This project was nearly 4,000 sqft and only took SMT team 5 work days to complete start to finish. We don’t cut corners we use good ol’ fashioned hard work with good equipment and techniques developed from 16 years of experience. SMT team got the opportunity to participate in the construction of a future central Alabama community college in Prattville Al. We a building 2 Geostone retaining walls total of 3700 blocks. Wall number one finished toda. It’s the job site you can see from I65 south 1 mile before the prattville exit.

This was a challenging one. The equipment work it took to get this one done required seasoned operators. SMT crew made it look easy. Other companies told the owner it wasn’t possible. He can now ride down to where his future boathouse will be without having to walk up over 100 steps. If you have a similar lot and are tired of walking up all those steps give us a call.
