Before a large turf area goes in, check the address. Inside a Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area, land disturbance is regulated at 2,500 square feet instead of 10,000, and a big turf area with its stone base can reach that. We check the ordinance for your property during design and handle the permitting, so the project has one permit number and one responsible party. We ran turf the length of this Glen Allen pool on both sides, with paver stepping pads set into it. The strip beside a pool is where grass gives up first.
