A warmer welcome ✨

For this daycare lobby refresh, the goal was to create a space that felt calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together while still keeping it functional for a busy childcare setting.

Rather than competing with the existing warm orange countertop, I chose to complement it with natural wood tones, woven textures, soft neutrals, greenery, and subtle black accents. The sage walls gave us a beautiful foundation, while the warmer accessories helped tie everything together and create a more balanced, inviting feel.

I also wanted the space to feel professional for parents walking in, while still keeping little touches that feel playful and appropriate for a daycare environment.

This one also came with a very tight timeline, which meant a late night install, finishing up around midnight and getting home around 1 a.m. 😅 But sometimes going the extra mile is exactly what it takes to make sure a space is ready when the client needs it.

Sometimes a refresh isn’t about changing everything, it’s about working with what’s already there and creating a more cohesive feeling around it. 🤍

I want to give a massive "Thank you" to the business owner for allowing me the privilege to decorate my first commercial space. I was overjoyed to be able to do this. This client fully entrusted me with the shopping, gathering pieces and styling her lobby/front desk area and staff bathroom🥰 I am so grateful for the opportunity!

🛍️ A little behind-the-scenes shopping for our clients!

Between work, family, and everyday responsibilities, finding the time to shop for the perfect pieces for your home and/or place of business isn't always easy. And that's where we come in! 🤎

At Repose Homes, we know that every client's needs are different. Some love being hands-on and selecting their own pieces, while others prefer a little extra help bringing their vision together.

That's why we offer personalized shopping and sourcing as part of our decorating and organizing services!

From finding the right décor to selecting functional storage solutions, we help take the extra errands off your plate while keeping your personal style, needs, and budget in mind. And as a special touch, we often bring along a few items from our own inventory at no additional charge, a little gift from us to help make your space feel even more complete. 🤎

Because creating a beautiful, functional home should feel exciting, not like another thing on your to-do list. 🌿

It's been a bit since I've stepped into Walmart . Since reaching my mid-30's, I'm not a fan of crowds or alot of people so I try to stay in solitude😅

However, I was in the area today so I went in and I was VERY impressed with their decor! I wanted one of everything!

It was all so timeless and beautiful. Well done Walmart, well done👏

🍂 Fall has officially arrived at Repose Homes. 🍂

There’s just something about this time of year that makes home feel a little extra special. 🤎

For our own front porch, I kept things simple and let the season do most of the decorating, layers of pumpkins in different colors and sizes, big fall mums, warm natural wood tones, and just a few cozy touches throughout the porch.

And because this is our home, apparently the cats and ducks felt they needed to be part of the photoshoot too. 😂🐈‍⬛🦆

One of my favorite things about decorating is creating spaces that feel beautiful without feeling overly styled or untouchable. A home can be put together and still feel warm, comfortable, lived-in, and completely yours.

Sometimes it really is the simple seasonal changes that make you fall in love with your home all over again. 🍁🎃

And if you love the look of a beautifully decorated home for fall but don't have the time, or simply don't know where to start, I’d love to help.

Whether it’s styling your front porch, refreshing a few spaces inside your home, or pulling together the seasonal décor you already own, Repose Homes can take care of the decorating so you can simply enjoy it. 🤎

Come with me for a day of design decisions. 🤍

This project is an especially fun one for me because I get to wear both of my hats. As co-owner of Premier Nests and owner of Repose Homes, this project brings both sides of what I do together, the construction and remodeling side through Premier Nests, and the design, selections, and finishing details through Repose Homes.

And today, we’re in the details. ✨

To most people, it might just look like a faucet, a piece of tile, or a cabinet handle.

To me, it’s… which brushed brass? Is it too yellow? Too bright? Too muted? Would polished nickel work better? Matte black? Chrome? And how is that finish going to look next to the tile, flooring, cabinetry, paint colors and lighting we’ve already selected?

Then come the little decisions within the decisions. 😅

Do we want a k**b or a pull? Something simple and timeless, or something with a little more personality? Maybe brushed brass… or maybe a crystal detail paired with brass is exactly what the space needs.

Because I’m never really choosing just one piece.

I’m thinking about the entire finished space.

How will this faucet look against that countertop? Will the warmth in this finish pull out the warmer tones in the tile? Does the flooring balance everything? Does this choice complement what’s happening in the next room?

Some details should blend in. Some should add warmth. Some should create contrast. And sometimes the smallest selection is the thing that pulls the entire space together.

So come along with me for a little behind-the-scenes look at a day of sourcing, comparing, coordinating, second-guessing 😅, and making what feels like a million tiny decisions that eventually become one cohesive home.

Premier Nests gets to help build it.
Repose Homes gets to help bring the vision to life.

And on projects like this, I get to be part of both. 🤍

A little reminder that sometimes a space doesn’t need a full renovation, it just needs the right finishing touches. 🍂🤎

Our bedroom fireplace wall always felt a little unfinished, so I added a warm wood mantel to break up the shiplap and bring in some contrast and character. Then I styled it for fall with layered greenery, warm autumn tones, natural textures, a few pumpkins, and some pieces we already had around the house. (The flower in the picture frame was from our honeymoon from 15 years 🥰)

Such a simple change, but look at the difference. 😍

The fireplace finally feels like an intentional focal point instead of something that was simply mounted on the wall.

This is one of my favorite parts of design, looking at a space that feels like it’s missing something and figuring out what will make it feel complete. You don’t always have to change everything to completely change the way a room feels.

So… what does “Repose” actually mean? 🤎

It’s a question I’ve gotten before, and the answer is really the heart behind Repose Homes.

Repose means a state of rest, peace, calm, and tranquility. 🌿
And that is exactly what I believe a home should give you.

Your home is where you come back to after a long day. It’s where life happens, where your family gathers, and where you should be able to exhale and feel comfortable.
That’s why I chose the name Repose Homes.

Whether I’m organizing a space that has become overwhelming, redesigning a room that just doesn’t feel quite right, decorating a home, or helping choose the finishes for an entire remodel, my goal is ultimately the same:
To create a home that feels good to live in. 🤍

Beautiful, yes, but also functional, comfortable, organized, welcoming, and most importantly… yours.
Because to me, good design isn’t just about creating something beautiful to look at.

It’s about creating a space that brings a little more repose into your everyday life. 🏡✨

And that is the meaning behind Repose Homes. 🤎

🍂 Fall decorating starts with the perfect pumpkins. 🎃🤎

There’s just something about giving a home a little seasonal refresh that makes it feel extra welcoming.

Today’s mission: picking out the perfect mix of pumpkins to bring a front porch to life for fall. I love mixing different colors, shapes, and sizes to create that layered, collected look rather than making everything perfectly match. 🤍🧡🌿

Because sometimes transforming a space doesn’t require a full redesign, it’s the little seasonal details that make a home feel special.

Can’t wait to show you how this fall porch comes together! 🍁🏡✨

When your client gives you full creative freedom to help design their entire custom home remodel… you take that responsibility VERY seriously. 🥹🤎

From flooring and tile to finishes, colors, fixtures, and all the little details that bring a space together, this is the part of design I absolutely love.
So excited to watch everything we’re selecting come to life! ✨

A huge thank you to Premier Nests for trusting Repose Homes LLC with the design selections for this beautiful custom remodel. 🤎🤍🖤

Stay tuned… this transformation is going to be a good one. 👀🏡

Have I helped you love your space a little more? 🏡🤍
If you've worked with Repose Homes, I'd love to hear about your experience!

And that doesn't only mean an in-person project. If you've ever reached out to me through Facebook Messenger, text, or photos of your space and I've helped you figure out how to decorate it, organize it, choose pieces, rearrange a room, or simply decide what would work best in your space, that counts too! 🥰

I've had the opportunity to help quite a few people this way over the years, often just through messages and photos, and I'd love for those experiences to be represented too.

As a local, woman-owned small business, Google reviews make a huge difference. They help people in our community discover Repose Homes and, more importantly, let potential clients hear directly from people I've actually helped.

Your review doesn't need to be long or fancy, just your honest experience working with me and how I helped you with your space. 🤍
