Freeze warning tonight meant a day in the garden moving pots into the greenhouse and garage! I got most of it all done but ran out of energy to harvest all the herbs. Here’s to hoping it’s not too bad and I get another chance to harvest more herbs. I’ll post some pictures later. It’s 8:00 pm and I heading to bed! Haha!

This beautiful day calls for some time outside resetting and cleaning the greenhouse!

I think this to myself every year!

My celery did so amazing this year! I had a lot left after I had my spring sale so I planted it in between my garlic rows. I love seeing all the varieties! Homegrown celery has a far superior flavor to store bought hands down!

Yesterday we added a gutter to the greenhouse! This was my birthday present if you can believe that! Hehe But the slope of the greenhouse meant all the water would go to back and the seep under the greenhouse with all these heavy rains. I will be adding a rain barrel as well. Hoping this solves our rain issues.

This beauty blessed me with a visit in the garden today! I love seeing butterflies in the garden! I needed this after a long day working!

We have been out of town this week. So today I had a pretty big harvest. I used the celery, leeks, and onions from the garden for dinner. Home grown celery is absolutely so much more flavorful than store bought. I saved the greens and I am planning to make homemade celery salt.

My awesome neighbor freeze dried some of my peppers for me this week! I can’t wait to use the jalapeños in some breads!!! I moved them to jars and sucked the air out so they will last longer too! So pretty on my shelf.
