A vanity update with so much personality. Rich wood cabinetry, a beautifully veined countertop, and matte black fixtures give this bathroom a fresh, refined feel. The scalloped mirror adds a softer shape, while warm, moody tones bring it all together.

For Story Hill Renovations, this one’s personal. 💙💛⚾

Our partners, Jack and Tom, are lifelong Brewers fans. Our name comes from Story Hill, the neighborhood so many fans pass through on their way to the stadium. Its homes inspired our love of Milwaukee’s character and craftsmanship, and so many of our clients call it home.

Then there’s the Power of Friendship. Caring about your people, supporting your teammates, and accomplishing something great together—that’s something we believe in, too.

From our name to our blue and yellow, we have plenty of reasons to cheer. But sharing this moment with our clients, neighbors, and fellow fans makes it even sweeter.

Let’s go, Brewers! 🍻

We help you narrow down options, ask the right questions, and think through how your home needs to function, before decisions become costly fixes. From millwork and lighting to furniture and fabrics, we make sure the details come together to tell the same story.

The secret to designing a kitchen you'll always love?
Start by paying attention to what made you fall in love with your home in the first place.

Especially in older homes, there are details that have endured for decades for a reason. The warmth of natural wood. The craftsmanship. The character. The way the home feels uniquely yours.

When planning a kitchen renovation, it's easy to get swept up in the latest trends. But nobody wants to invest in redesigning a space only to have it feel dated 10 years later. Instead, we encourage homeowners to look closely at the elements they already love about their home and use those details as inspiration for the new design.

The most timeless kitchens aren't built around what's popular today. They're built around the character of the home and the people who live there.

More room to grow. More reasons to stay in the neighborhood you love.

This whole-home remodel gave a growing Wauwatosa family the space and functionality they needed to stay in the community they call home. Thoughtful updates to the basement, kitchen, dining room, living areas, and two bathrooms made their home work better for everyday life.

Love your neighborhood, but need more from your home? Reach out to explore what a whole-home renovation could make possible.

A little bathroom with so much character.

For this 1922 Milwaukee Tudor, we paired a custom star-patterned tile floor with blue-gray beadboard, a walnut-and-brass console sink, and the home’s original cast iron tub. Thoughtful changes to the layout made the compact space feel more comfortable, while period-inspired details honored its history. We’re also proud this guest bath earned a Wisconsin ASID Design Excellence Award!

Custom details make this renovation feel deeply connected to the home.

The built-in cabinet is a work of art, complemented by the texture of plastered walls and archways that repeat an architectural rhythm throughout the home.

The hall door carries a piece of its history forward, too. Original to the home, it was salvaged from a closet removed during the renovation, then refinished to match its new surroundings.

Thoughtfully crafted, carefully preserved, and full of character.

Being invited back into a client’s home is one of the greatest compliments we can receive.

Years after his first renovation, John trusted our team again to add workspace and cabinetry and refresh his bathroom. We’re grateful to keep helping his Milwaukee bungalow evolve with his needs.

Thank you, John, for your kind words and continued trust!

Last renovated in 2009, this kitchen had been stuck on replay. So we gave it a 2026 remix.

A fresh look, thoughtful details, and a space designed around the way our clients live today. Some songs stay on repeat. Your kitchen doesn’t have to stay stuck in the past. Ready for your own kitchen remix? Let’s talk.
