🏰 Iconic Architecture Monday | Halloween Edition: Part 2
Mong-Sait-Michel | 📍Normandy, France

Rising dramatically from the tidal waters of Normandy, France, Mont-Saint-Michel looks like something straight out of a Gothic fairytale.

With centuries of history, legends dating back to the 8th century, and a remarkable combination of Romanesque and Gothic architecture, this UNESCO World Heritage Site has no shortage of stories to tell...with its dramatic geography only adding to the intrigue and fueling the legends surrounding it. Over centuries, the island has served as a place of pilgrimage, a fortress, and even a prison.

But why have we come to associate Gothic architecture with the eerie and supernatural? We recently shared an interesting article from Architectural Digest exploring how Gothic architecture became so closely connected to all things eerie and mysterious...check out our stories!

Throwback Thursday | Columbia Valley Community Health
📍 Chelan, WA

The CVCH Chelan Clinic remains one of our favorite projects to share. Originally designed as a 17,500 square foot healthcare facility, the clinic later underwent a 5,000 square foot expansion to accommodate growing patient needs!

The expansion brought additional medical spaces, an expanded laboratory and a new pharmacy, all thoughtfully integrated into the existing building.

The result? A facility designed to serve twice as many patients while continuing to support the Chelan community for years to come. 👏👏👏
