The first freeze is on the way. Adrianna at our Five Points store chose EasyHeat pipe heating cable as her Staff Pick for protecting exposed pipes. Our Five Points team also has a tip: unhook your garden hose before the cold hits. A hose left on can split the faucet inside the wall, even a frost-free one. Not sure what size pipe insulation you need? Bring us a photo of your pipe with a tape measure on it and weโ€™ll match it for you.

The most common reason a mower wonโ€™t start in spring is the gas left in it in October. It goes stale and gums up the carburetor. This week our Bargersville store is winterizing mowers, so bring yours in through Sunday. Doing it yourself? Run the tank dry, or add stabilizer and run it a few minutes.
