Thank you to our wonderful electrician Kyle of V Star Services for upgrading our power and lighting situation here at Clearview. We can now do cool things like operating the microwave and vacuum simultaneously! And new lighting for the front of the nursery which will help immensely during the Christmas season!

Here at the nursery we have our first frost, which means the end of the growing season. It is a beautiful experience to enter into the nursery and see how gorgeous the frost kisses the plants so intricately. What a wonderful sight to see❄️

Our current sales are Buy One, Get One Free on Perennials, 20% off Boxwood, and 15% of All Trees, Shrubs, and Fruits. It is still a fantastic time to plant over the next couple weeks so stop on by! 🌳🏷️

Announcing our last day is next Saturday, October 24th . After a brief shutdown, we will re-open Friday, November 20th to kick off the holiday season 🎄!!

Bulbs are in! With the fall heat wave of this weekend behind us and more consistent seasonable temps in the forecast, now is a great time to plant bulbs! We have a fun selection, including many deer resistant options and garlic too. I’ve planted bulbs with snow on the ground and had success so you have plenty of time to get these in the ground!

Plenty of fall color here at Clearview! 15% off shrubs and trees, 35% off perennials. We will be open for another couple weeks, so stop on in!

Thank you Farmer Al for the beautiful load of pumpkins and corn shocks to further “fall-ify” the shop! Dairy farmer turned pumpkin grower, this man is truly one of the best! In other news, we have some more fall sales to announce: 25% off all perennials, 15% off all shrubs, trees and fruits. We still have a large selection of nice plants to get in the ground!

These are great days for planting! Cooler temps = less stress on the plants and the person planting them! We have lots of seasonal fall color, healthy trees, shrubs and perennials in stock and ready for planting. Also fall SALES start now! 15% off native shrubs, all fruit trees, and fruiting plants like blueberries and raspberries! Stop in, the girls have this place looking absolutely beautiful!

Tonight we took a moment to gather and send off our “young muscle” Michael to college. Michael has been with us the past three years through the daily ups and downs, in scorching sun and falling snow. Usually with a smile on his face even when asked to do the most tedious and back-breaking tasks. I couldn’t do this without him and this whole group of staff, family, and volunteers, including my husband behind the camera!

These young fresh faces will be selling lemonade and treats for the Ringle tornado relief effort til 5 today at the building right next to Clearview! Stop in!

It’s always fun to see things from the air! My awesome and talented cousin-in-law Cara of Cara Spatz Photography + Design stopped by this week to take some drone shots of the place at peak season. It’s changed quite a bit from photos taken in 2023 by friend and nursery owner Paul Vanevenhoven of Badger Boyz Greenhouses, LLC. and with some of the fun planting plans we have in mind I’m sure it may look quite different in a few years! I have my staff to thank for keeping the place looking as good as it does, it’s a lot of work to both manage a property and keep the retail plants looking good, and they deserve most of the credit!
