Spring color starts now! 🌷

Fall is the perfect time to plant Dutch bulbs like tulips, crocus, and hyacinths, so they can settle in before winter and surprise you with beautiful blooms next spring.

We got a little inspiration on our last trip to the Netherlands, where we saw some of the incredible varieties available from our Dutch bulb supplier. Now it’s your turn to dream up your own spring display!

Garlic season is here, and Marty’s putting next summer’s flavor in the dirt! 🧄

Garlic is a fall planting favorite, and one of the simplest to grow:
Separate the cloves
Plant them pointy-side up
Water and give them time to settle in before winter.

With a little care now, you can harvest your own homegrown bulbs next summer.

If you still need garlic for your garden, we have soft-neck available and just a few hard-neck bulbs left. This is your nudge to get planting!

It takes a village to care for community cats, and Presley’s story is proof. 🐾❤️

Thank you to Friends of Felines and WAAL for helping us finally trap our clever boy, and to Friends of Felines for caring for him after his capture and coordinating with Kansas Humane Society to get him neutered and vaccinated.

Now Presley is back where he belongs, with Purrscilla waiting for him. We’re so happy he’s TNR’d, safe, and ready to spend his days with his favorite girl at Johnson’s. The cutest couple on staff, with matching ear-tips!
