A good attic inspection also includes checking the attic ventilation, insulation, HVAC, and more!

This house was having severe humidity issues from two issues, low insulation and a closed ridge vent not allowing any hot air to escape the attic. This trapped air can increase Florida attic temperatures from a normal 140° to 160° degrees or higher!

If you're buying a new home it's a great idea to have the attic insulation properly inspected to make sure 1, it's up to code at minimum and 2, it's not contaminated and in need of replacement.

For this property it was the latter and the attic had been infested with mice. Unforgettably, and in good faith, the seller asked for a complete insulation removal, air seal, sanitize, and R38 install of all 3793 ft.² to give the new owners a healthy and more energy efficient new start.

Clean air is important and your attic plays a major role in home health and air quality.
