We recently just finished missle boring underneath of a roadway for a customer who wanted the electric for their out building put underground. This process includes digging a trench or pit on either side & deploying an air driven "missle" or "mole" bore through the dirt. While it does take some time, it is significantly cheaper than open & closing a trench across a roadway especially when you include the added expenses of things such as traffic control devices, flaggers, additional equipment costs, & restoration of pavement to name a few. People utilizing the roadway aren't delayed on their commute either! This type of tool is great for installing underground utilities beneath solid surfaces such as a roadway, driveway, walkway or patio, or even beneath structures such as a fence or a shed, among other things!
