A Treasure from the Sea

A Treasure from the Sea Creating sea glass jewelry, home decor, and more from real, beach-found sea glass since 2009. What is sea glass? After many years, the glass becomes a treasure.

Sea glass is known by many different names (beach glass and mermaid tears are among a few of those names). It can be found all over the world and comes from a variety of sources. It can come from a shipwreck, broken bottles, storm debris, and even old dumps. The broken glass finds its way to the sea where its edges are worn smooth by the waves. Eventually it finds its way to a beach, where the rocks work as a natural rock tumbler. It goes from being clear and sharp, to having smooth edges and a beautiful frosty appearance. Because of the way it is formed, each piece is unique. If you are interested in buying any piece on this page, please visit my Etsy shop.
