Construction Laborer / Remodeling Helper
Chicago & Western Suburbs
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Construction Laborer / Remodeling Helper to join our residential remodeling and general contracting crew.
Our projects include door installation, deck construction, home remodeling, repairs, and general carpentry throughout Chicago and the western suburbs.
Requirements
• Reliable personal transportation — required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
• Valid driver's license required
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to perform physical labor and lift/carry materials
• Comfortable working on ladders and around residential construction sites
• Basic construction/remodeling experience is a plus
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Able to work well as part of a small crew
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
What You'll Do
• Assist with interior and exterior door installation
• Help build and repair decks, stairs, and railings
• Assist with residential remodeling projects
• Help with framing, demolition, drywall, trim, and general carpentry
• Load, unload, and move materials
• Use basic hand and power tools
• Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe
• Protect customers’ homes and property
• Assist the crew with daily construction tasks
