Anyone else putting off switching over their closets for fall? 🍂

Between the jackets, sweaters, and clothes the kids somehow outgrew since last year, it always turns into a bigger project than expected.

One thing that helps is sorting through what actually fits before finding room for everything. No fancy organizers needed!

Has anyone else started switching out their family's clothes, or are you still putting it off like me? 😂

Somehow the bathroom becomes the catch-all for everything… extra shampoo, random samples, half-used toothpaste, medicine, hair stuff, and things nobody even remembers buying 😅

I’ve learned that bathroom organization doesn’t have to be fancy to help. Even just tossing expired items, grouping like items together, and giving everyday things a simple home can make mornings feel a little less chaotic.

If your bathroom cabinets or medicine cabinet have gotten a little out of control, you are definitely not the only one.

What’s one spot in your bathroom that always gets messy first?

Does your entryway collect shoes, backpacks, jackets, mail and everything nobody knows where to put? 😅

You don’t need a large mudroom or an expensive built-in system to make it work better.

My updated entryway guide includes practical ideas for:

• Creating a simple drop zone
• Using wall space
• Containing everyday shoes
• Giving backpacks and jackets a home
• Managing mail and small items
• Making the system easier for kids to use

Anyone else organize the pantry just for it to look like a disaster again a week later? 😂

I’ve been trying to make ours a little easier to keep up with, and these clear containers have been a nice change. Less digging through half-empty boxes and bags, and I can actually see what we have!

It’s the little things, right? ❤️

Before the first West Michigan snow arrives, make sure the winter items aren’t trapped behind all the summer gear.

Move snow shovels, ice melt, sleds and winter car supplies somewhere easy to reach.

You don’t need to reorganize the entire garage. Sometimes the smartest seasonal reset is simply moving the right things closer to the door.

What winter item do you always end up searching for?

Well, I finally caved and tackled our pantry cabinets! 😂

Between three kids and the everyday chaos, things just kept getting shoved wherever there was room. Out of sight, out of mind… until you can’t find anything! 🤦‍♀️

I’d been putting it off for weeks, but I finally got tired of the mess and decided to do something about it.

I spent a little money on some clear food containers, reused baskets we already had, and did some rearranging. Nothing fancy, but hopefully it’ll make finding things a little easier!

Now let’s see how long it lasts with three kids in the house. 🤣

Anyone else have a spot in their house that’s been driving them crazy lately?

Set a timer for 15 minutes and choose one small kitchen area.

Not the entire kitchen. Try:

• One pantry shelf
• The snack basket
• The spice cabinet
• One countertop
• The reusable-container drawer

Remove what doesn’t belong, group similar items and stop when the timer ends.

A small finished space feels much better than an entire room pulled apart.

Which space causes the most daily stress in your home?

A. The pantry
B. The entryway
C. The kids’ rooms
D. The garage
E. The closet that shall not be named 😂

Tell me your answer below. I’m curious which space wins—or loses—this round.

One small pantry change can make busy afternoons easier: create a simple kid-friendly snack zone.

Choose one lower shelf, drawer or basket for parent-approved snacks your kids can reach themselves.

Keep the categories simple and avoid packing it so full that everything tumbles out when someone wants a granola bar. 😅

The goal isn’t a picture-perfect snack station. It’s fewer interruptions and an easier routine.

Your pantry does not need matching containers to be organized.

Original packaging is completely fine.

A simple basket you already own is completely fine.

A handwritten label is completely fine.

If your family can find the food, put groceries away and maintain the system, it’s working.

What’s one organizing “rule” you’ve decided your home doesn’t need?
