Hull Family Homestead

Hull Family Homestead 15 years ago, a writer/cook met an artist/engineer and over a shared dream of learning to farm, fell in love. We hope you'll follow our story.

Our Homestead is small but mighty, and we've learned a lot over the past 10 years we've had it. Our blog details our family's adventures in cooking seasonal food, gardening as much as we can, DIYing all the things, and balancing two busy careers with two kids, a makerspace, and a family dream to farm. Though our homestead is small, we try to produce as much as we can, and often have enough to share. When we do, we'll update the products page with our current selection. We often have eggs, jams, and breads available for pick-up at our Zionsville, Indiana Homestead. We invite you to join our community via the MakerSpace group for Maker Factory, the makerspace owned and operated by my husband. There you can connect with people about making--whether bread or a solar-powered scooter; because if there's one thing we've learned, it's that doing things together is what makes a community, and none of us can do this life alone.
