We Have a New Assistant in the Shop!
Well… we may have slightly stretched the job description.
Please welcome our newest “team member” — Tipsy Nanna.
You’ll find her holding down the very important position of Rocking Chair Supervisor. By “holding down,” we mean gently swaying side to side with a cheerful glow and a mysterious teacup that definitely does not contain just tea.
Her duties include:
Inspecting the biscuit tin… repeatedly.
Greeting customers with a wink she thinks is subtle (it isn’t).
Offering discounts that absolutely have not been approved by management.
Whispering, “Don’t tell Connie…” to everyone.
She insists she’s “not drunk, just relaxed,” which is impressive considering she just tried to scan her glasses at the till.
Pop in and say hello — but if she offers to gift wrap you along with your purchase, it might be time to gently steer her back to the rocking chair.
Every shop needs character. Ours just happens to rock. 🍷
