I want to share some details about our unique business and some of the artisanal services we offer.

On top of general interior and exterior painting, our bigger focus is on specialty services such as limewashing, color washing, color drenching, and murals.

We are artists by nature and we naturally have an eye for detail and design. We’d love to extend our expertise to you and your projects!

It’s time we tell you..we’re MOVING to Crossville, TN!!

Oh hey yall, if you’re reading this and don’t know who we are yet- we’re Frank & Cait! We founded Albatross in Southern Pines, NC back in 2024.

We’re a specialty painting company that offers color drenching, color & lime wash, venetian plaster, and murals (custom & logo).

A little about us..
👨🏽‍🎨Frank grew up in the residential and commercial painting realm. He’s been painting since he was 15! After high school he joined the Navy for a few years, then was a mail carrier, stay at home dad during the pandemic, and discovered his passion and talent for fine art. He is the talent & muscles in the company!

📸 Cait is an architectural photographer with a deep passion for interior design (she studied it in college!). She manages client communication, marketing, and designs murals for the company.

Now you can probably see why we started a specialty painting company…we both LOVE art, design, and bringing beauty to spaces whether it be residential or commercial!

🏠We’ll be based in Crossville, TN and are available in the surrounding areas including Knoxville, Nashville, and Chattanooga. We’re moving this summer & taking some time to settle in so our schedule will be open in August.

Feel free to send us a message about projects you have & we can get the process started by sending you a FREE quote!

In honor of ‘s grand opening TOMORROW, here are photos of the mural we painted in their back play space!

They wanted something playful and organic that matched their branding. How do you think it turned out?!

Ok seriously though, if you have kids you NEED a membership!! Y’all know there’s near nothing indoors to do with your kiddos and extreme weather is brutal trying to keep them entertained. Our little guy just started walking and he loooved the toddler area. Grab yourself a coffee and let your kids have fun!

Check out this color transformation! This home had some great colors originally but the home needed a revamp!

A new family moved in and wanted the colors to reflect their personality & make it more homey to them.

Design a Valentine’s Day window mural with us 🩵💛💜

It all starts with an idea based on
1. Who our client is
2. What they’re trying to convey
3. Who their audience is

So in this case, is
1. A children’s consignment shop
2. Holiday fun & shopping
3. Mainly mamas & kiddos come in the store

We listen, brainstorm, sketch, plan, and execute!

Frank and Cait both worked on this window mural. They have different artistic styles so they’ve had to learn how to work together so it all looks cohesive! Very special to be a husband and wife team 😍
