We have sheeps 🐑🐑🐑. Introducing Jane, Tilly and Fat Sandy (names all given by their previous owner). We have them on a trial basis for one month to see how we get on, if they eat the grass and not the apple trees and to see if they are happy with us. All good so far 👌🏻. Pete wonders up to feed the a few nuggets each morning and evening - just checking they are OK.
We had friends for a BBQ last night - (pics on stories) the weather broke just a the right moment so we could enjoy it outside. Hope you’re all having a great bank holiday weekend 😊 xx

A last minute call from my friend Kay yesterday after someone had to drop out and thoroughly enjoyed a day of making a pottery vase with - PURE self care at its best. Coupled with a delicious lunch, summer wreath making and meeting some lovely fellow creatives. They still have a few spaces left in July if you fancy it - or keep an eye out for the autumn and Christmas ones. I can’t recommend this more highly and I shall definitely be returning. Thank you for thinking of me - it was just what I needed. 🥰 ###

Morning. Waking up and just digesting the news of Part Deux. I think it’s different for everyone which very much depends on your personal circumstances but for us I’m so grateful the kids are still in school. It’s so important for my two teenage girls. The on line provision is good but school is about SO much more when you’re 14/15.
Last Christmas I was lucky enough to be a part of bringing a Christmas pop up to Manningtree - one of my career highlights to date. It was highly popular and so special to be a involved in. Many close bonds were formed between like minded creatives and many have used these connections to go on and grow their businesses. I feel massively for those local businesses that will be forced to close at their busiest time of year and will be doing everything I can to support them virtually. 🎄This year I will be ordering take always from the pub🎄messaging about a Christmas cake 😁 (which any Christmas wouldn’t the same without) and 🎄I’ve already been in touch with about his beautiful wooden Christmas trees (and not just for Christmas - I have them displayed all year round) and I will be sharing with you all of my purchases from local makers and artists who currently have limited avenues to sell their beautiful products. Please share the love and support. 🎄🙏🏻💚
As as many seem to be focusing on their home - I’ve been very busy. I’m currently working my way through three rooms for a local client who has chosen well from collection. These roman blinds with sides are in Ottoman Edge Green for room one 💚💙

Good morning all 👋🏻, how are you?? This morning, I’m sat with a cuppa slightly holding my breath with excitement. My ridiculously talented friend is only on the bloody radio. And not just ANY radio station - my flippin favourite !!! She’s written a book - 🐆Leopard is a neutral 🐆 - - out tomorrow. After many years of experience editing the glossy pages of fashion mags, styling books such as the iconic style guides by and - she then moved into the world of social media. She has become loved and adored for sharing her style tips and stunning home renovations on Instagram - allowing her followers to feel that size really doesn’t matter and in your home anything goes as long as YOU love it. She has a way of writing that makes you feel you’re in the room with her, sharing a cup of tea and some delicious cake. ☕️ 🍰
As my friend she is 100% there. No matter what is going on in her life she always has time to listen, make me laugh and offers honest and supportive advise. We *may* have shared the odd vintage shopping trip or two! I can confirm she is as utterly lovely as she seems. I’m beside myself with excitement for everything to come. CONGRATULATIONS 😘😘😘😘😘 you totally deserve all this. Xx

Talking over on stories about our orchard and this years crop. It’s not been a great one to be honest but we have sent our first batch off to be juiced this week. We also feature in the September issue of . Kay of came armed with the most delicious edible goodies and a gaggle of local friends - and .rebecca. We sat - we ate - we giggled and then repeated this for several hours. 🤗 Also really lovely to meet .pyle - the talented lady behind the camera 📷 and quite often at the top of a step ladder!

Bring the festival to us. At the beginning of lockdown we ordered this bell tent (from ). We have been umming and ahhing over which size to get for quite some time. In the end we went for the 5 meter with two doors (makes such a difference giving a lovely through breeze when it’s warm and so nice to see out from both sides). It went up when it arrived at the beginning of April and hasn’t been down since. It’s become a second offfice/classroom (when the WiFi extender is working properly) somewhere for to do yoga and meditation (the husband 🧘‍♂️) and somewhere to escape to when you just need some space and a cheeky afternoon nap (me 😁). And last night it was the backdrop to a campfire set up for some friends to socially distance outside. It’s definitely paid for itself in 3 months - and I can’t see it coming down anytime soon. ⛺️ ❤️
