🚧 A complete entrance upgrade in just one day!

We arrived at 9:30am, removed the old asphalt, topped up with crusher run, installed new kerbing and laid approximately 2 tons of fresh asphalt.

By 5pm, the customer was driving through their upgraded entrance. 👌

Part 3: The transformation begins.

With the surface cleaned and prepared, we can start applying the seal coat.

You can already see the difference in the treated area: a refreshed, more uniform finish that helps protect the asphalt and hold the surface together.

The key is applying it evenly and allowing the product to do its job.

Part 2: Preparation is everything.

Before the seal coat goes down, the surface needs to be properly cleaned and cleared of loose material so the product can bond evenly.

Seal coating helps to:
• Refresh a tired-looking asphalt surface
• Seal fine hairline cracks
• Bind loose surface stones
• Protect the asphalt from weathering and oxidation
• Extend the life of asphalt that is still structurally in good condition

Two days of hard work and a fresh new finish! Day one: we removed and replaced the old kerbing and prepared the existing asphalt. Day two: we resurfaced the driveway with 11 tons of asphalt. Another driveway repaired and looking great! 🚧

What a busy and special week for Absolute Asphalt and our family! 🎉

Alongside plenty of asphalt work and jobs on the go, we celebrated Harvey’s 6th birthday and honoured Richard for an incredible 23 years with Absolute Asphalt. He’s been with us since the very beginning, when Dad started the business in 2003, and we’re so grateful to have him as part of the team.

We also welcomed a brand new BOMAG roller to the fleet — an exciting addition as we keep moving forward.

A week full of hard work, special moments and things to be thankful for. We’re looking forward to what’s next! 🙌
