🚨 LIVE VEHICLE ENTRAPMENT DEMONSTRATION AT GJ CROOKES HOSPITAL 🚨

On 21 October 2026, staff and visitors at GJ Crookes Hospital were given a firsthand look into the coordinated efforts of emergency response teams during a simulated vehicle accident involving an entrapped patient.

The live demonstration featured key role players including RTI, Gladiator Security Fire & Rescue, Gray's Towing, and IPSS Medical Response, who worked together to showcase the critical procedures followed when responding to serious accident scenes.

Attendees witnessed each department explain and demonstrate their specific responsibilities upon arrival, from scene safety and traffic management to vehicle stabilization, patient extrication, emergency medical care, and transportation. The demonstration highlighted how seamless teamwork and professional coordination can make all the difference in saving lives.

🚨 SUCCESS REPORT: SUSPECT APPREHENDED FOR ATTEMPTED HOUSEBREAKING 🚨

Teamwork and community vigilance deliver results once again! On Friday, 9 October 2026, at approximately 18:45, the Gladiator Security Services Control Room received an urgent call from clients on David Road, Scottburgh. Three suspects had entered their property, looking into the premises and tampering with the doors.

Our control room immediately dispatched the Scottburgh Unit, Park Rynie Unit, and the Supervisor Unit to the scene.
Upon arrival, the responding units quickly spotted the three suspects. A foot chase ensued, and thanks to the swift, highly coordinated efforts of all three units, one suspect was successfully cornered and apprehended! 🏃‍♂️💨🔒

The suspect was immediately handed over to the Scottburgh SAPS for further investigation and the necessary legal processing.
A massive thank you goes out to the vigilant residents from SNAP for their invaluable assistance and cooperation during the incident. We also extend our sincere gratitude to Scottburgh SAPS for their prompt response and backup.

This incident highlights exactly how important community vigilance, effective communication, and tight cooperation between private security services, residents, and SAPS are in keeping our neighborhoods safe. 🤝🛡️

🚨 GLADIATOR SECURITY – SUCCESS REPORT 🚨
Incident: Theft / Suspect Detained
Location: Salisbury Road
Time: 12:59

At approximately 12:59 today, our Gladiator Response Team was dispatched to an alarm activation at a client’s premises on Salisbury Road, Widenham.
Upon arrival, Response members observed a suspect jumping over the wall in an attempt to flee. The team immediately gave chase, successfully detaining the suspect and escorting him back to the property.

A full inspection revealed that the suspect had broken into the garage area and stolen:
• Copper cable
• Copper pipes
• Tools

All stolen items were recovered on site.
Umkomaas SAPS was called out, and the suspect was handed over for further investigation.
The homeowner has officially opened a case.

🔥 SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY – COPPER THEFT SUSPECT APPREHENDED 🔥

At 03:14 on 30 August 2026, our Gladiator Security Control Room picked up two suspicious individuals on our Scottburgh street monitoring cameras. Due to the time and their behaviour, a response team was immediately dispatched.

While reviewing the footage, it was observed that one suspect exited a footpath, checked the surroundings, and then signalled the second suspect—who appeared to be hiding items under his jacket.

As our response officer approached, both suspects fled into the golf course. A chase ensued, and one suspect was successfully detained. Additional units searched the bushes for the second suspect, who remains outstanding.

Upon searching the detained suspect, suspected stolen copper cable was found in his possession. He refused to disclose where the copper was taken from or identify the second suspect.

Scottburgh SAPS arrived within minutes and took custody of the suspect for further investigation. The recovered copper cable has been secured.

⚡ SUCCESS: SUSPECT APPREHENDED WITH STOLEN PROPERTY ⚡

Earlier today, at approximately 11:00 AM, our Gladiator Response Team was patrolling Reynolds Street when they spotted a suspicious individual carrying bags of visible copper cable.
Our officer immediately intervened and stopped the individual. Upon inspection, the suspect was found in possession of:
🔹 Copper wire and cable
🔹 Brass and copper fittings
🔹 Various tools
🔹 2 x Knives

The suspect was successfully detained and transported to the Umkomaas SAPS for further investigation. All recovered items have been safely booked into the SAPS 13 register.

Crime stop starts with visibility. Patrols in the area will continue.

🚨 SUSPECT APPREHENDED WITH STOLEN PROPERTY IN WIDENHAM 🚨
Quick thinking and teamwork by our Gladiator Security response units led to the successful arrest of a suspect and the recovery of stolen infrastructure assets earlier today.
📅 Date: 17 August 2026
⏰ Time: 12:15
📍 Location: R102 / Railway Line near Golf Course, Widenham

While responding to an alarm activation on the R102, a Gladiator unit spotted three suspicious individuals entering the bushes near the Golf Course. Backup was immediately radioed to the scene to assist with a thorough search of the area. Our team intercepted a male suspect walking along the railway line. Though initially clear upon a preliminary search, he remained a person of interest.
Moments later, a report flagged on the local crime group regarding a suspect carrying railway cable in the vicinity. Gladiator units intensified their search and intercepted the same male near Vista.

This time, the suspect was found in possession of:
🛠️ Housebreaking tools
🔧 A wheel spanner
🚊 Stolen PRASA aluminium railway cable
⛽ Stolen signage from the Engen garage

The suspect was detained on the scene and handed over to the Umkomaas SAPS for official processing and further investigation. All stolen items were successfully recovered.

🚨 VEHICLE RECOVERY SUCCESS 🚨

A hijacked Toyota Quantum has successfully recovered following swift action, reliable information, and strong cooperation between private security and SAPS.

On 14 August 2026, at approximately 14:30, information was received from an informer regarding a suspected stripped Toyota Quantum shell in the Kelso/Malangeni area.

Further investigation confirmed that the vehicle had been hijacked in April 2026, with a case registered at Port Shepstone SAPS (CAS 3 # #/4/2026).
Acting on the information, Gladiator Security Services – Operations Unit proceeded to investigate and successfully located and recovered the vehicle.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Umzinto SAPS for their swift response, assistance, and cooperation throughout the recovery process.
This success highlights the power of accurate information, rapid response, and strong partnerships in combating vehicle‑related crime and keeping our communities safe.
