WHAT IF YOUR NEXT DINNER PARTY WAS AN EXPERIENCE?

This weekend, we brought our Asian Hot Pot Experience into a client's home — and what a fun evening it was!

From setting up the experience to creating a table that invited everyone to get involved, it was about so much more than serving dinner.

Guests gathered around the hot pot, chose their ingredients, cooked together, shared laughs and created a moment to remember. ❤️

And that's what we love about Food Ink.

We bring the experience to you.

We don't just teach recipes. We teach people how to cook.

At Food Ink, our Housekeeper Cooking Lessons are genuinely hands-on.

We don't simply hand a student a recipe book, demonstrate a dish and leave them to figure out the rest.

We cook together.

We demonstrate techniques, explain why things work, guide each step and give our students the opportunity to practise with support along the way.

From preparing ingredients and understanding flavours to mastering techniques and putting a meal together, every lesson is designed to develop practical skills that last.

Because it's not just about making one delicious meal during a lesson.

It's about building the confidence to walk into the kitchen tomorrow, know what to do and prepare a meal independently.

**Practical skills. Personal guidance. Real kitchen confidence.**

That's the Food Ink approach.

What a great day!

Two students. Two lessons. One busy day in the Food Ink kitchen. 👩‍🍳❤️

Today was all about hands-on learning, practical skills and creating delicious food.

Our housekeeper cooking lessons aren't about memorising recipes.

They're about learning how to cook — understanding ingredients, techniques, seasoning and how to put together meals that people actually want to eat.

And there's something incredibly rewarding about watching someone go from "I'm not sure" to "I made this!"

That's why we do what we do.

Cape Town, meet Anina. ❤️

Behind every Food Ink cooking lesson is someone who cares about making a real difference in the kitchen.

Anina is our amazing Food Ink representative and cooking instructor in Cape Town, looking after our housekeeper training and cooking classes in the Mother City.

Her role is about so much more than teaching recipes.

It's about helping housekeepers build confidence, practical skills and the ability to prepare delicious meals for the families they work with.

From everyday family favourites to learning new techniques, our lessons are designed to make cooking feel easier, more enjoyable and more confident.

And we're looking to connect with more families and housekeepers in Cape Town who would love to be part of the Food Ink family.

Dinner doesn't always have to be formal. ❤️

Sometimes the best evenings are the ones where everyone gets involved.

Our Asian Hot Pot Experience brought guests around the table to choose, cook, share and discover — turning dinner into part of the entertainment.

It's interactive.
It's social.
It's delicious.
And, most importantly, it's fun.

This is what we love about Food Ink — creating experiences that are about more than what's on the plate.

Good food. Great company. A little bit of fun.

This is the joy of a Food Ink Feasting Table. ❤️

Beautiful food.
A generous table.
People helping themselves, sharing, chatting and going back for "just one more bite."

And the best part?

You don't have to spend the day in the kitchen making it happen.

For this Middle Eastern-inspired feast, we created a table designed for sharing — colourful, generous and full of flavour.

You invite the people you love.

We bring the feast.

You get to sit down, pour yourself a drink, enjoy your guests and actually be part of your own celebration.

That's what a Feasting Table is all about.

Less kitchen. More table. More laughter. More memories.

Last night, the kitchen became the party. 🇮🇹❤️

We took an Italian-inspired dinner and turned it into a hands-on cooking experience — making fresh pasta, cooking together, sharing a few laughs and eventually sitting down to enjoy everything we had created.

Because sometimes the best dinner parties aren't about being served.

They're about getting involved, trying something new and making memories together.

This is what we love about Food Ink.

We bring the experience to your home, create the menu around your occasion and get your guests involved.

Good food. Good people. Great memories.

81 five-star reviews. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

But behind every review is a person.

A birthday celebrated.
A milestone shared.
A family gathered around a table.
A new skill learned.
A special evening created in someone's home.

Over the years, we've had the privilege of being part of so many moments and memories, and that means far more to us than any number ever could.

Every review, recommendation, booking and message reminds us why we started Food Ink in the first place.

Food isn't just what we do. It's how we bring people together.

To every client, student and guest who has trusted us with a little piece of their story — thank you. ❤️

Here's to many more beautiful moments around the table.
