🦸♂️💦 JAG’S SUPERHERO WAS ON A DIFFERENT MISSION — PROTECTING LITTLE LIVES, ONE SPLASH AT A TIME! 🏊♀️
At JAG Security, protecting lives has always been our mission. But this time, our superheroes weren’t responding to alarms or fighting crime.
They were helping 36 little children take their first steps towards becoming WATER SAFE!
Through our Water Safe & Learn to Swim Initiative, 36 children, aged just 3–5 years, from a crèche in Chesterville have been given a wonderful opportunity to learn one of life’s most important skills.
Think about it. We teach our children to walk, ride bicycles, cross roads safely and recognise danger. So why shouldn’t learning to swim and understanding water safety be just as important?
Our dream is simple: By the time these little ones reach Grade 1, we want them to have developed the confidence, basic swimming skills and water-safety awareness that could one day save their lives.
And judging by the smiles, laughter and splashing during their first lesson, we are off to a fantastic start! 💦😄
THE PEOPLE MAKING THE MAGIC HAPPEN!
A very special thank you to Cheryl Fortar, owner of Seagulls Swim School, who embraced our vision and came on board to help turn this initiative into a reality.
Together with Londiwe from Seagulls Swim School and our very own Karon from JAG Security, Cheryl was right there in the swimming pool, patiently guiding, encouraging and teaching these little ones.
Watching the children overcome their initial uncertainty, begin kicking those little legs and discover the excitement of being in the water was something truly special.
Cheryl, Lindo and Karon — thank you for your time, patience, enthusiasm and genuine care for these children. You are helping to teach skills that could last a lifetime!

❤️ A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO CAYLEE WARNER!
A heartfelt thank you to Caylee Warner, who took the initiative to approach various companies and helped secure the sponsorship of the kickboards and swimming floaties needed for our little swimmers.
Caylee, your personal effort, dedication and willingness to go the extra mile have made a real difference to this project.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us turn this initiative into a reality! ❤️🙏
Thank you for generously sponsoring all the swimming equipment and essentials needed for the children, including swimming caps, training equipment and towels.
Your contributions mean so much more than the equipment itself. You have helped give these children an opportunity they may otherwise never have had.
We sincerely appreciate every one of you for helping us make this possible!
MORE THAN JUST A SWIMMING LESSON…
For us at JAG Security, this initiative is about much more than teaching children to swim.
It’s about giving children opportunities, building their confidence, teaching them to recognise the dangers of water and investing in their futures.
We hope that these 36 little swimmers will be the first of many children to benefit from this programme.
Because every child deserves the opportunity to learn to be water safe, regardless of their circumstances.
And if the knowledge we help give even one child prevents a tragedy one day, then every minute invested will have been worth it.
🦸♂️ OUR JAG SUPERHEROES DON’T ALWAYS WEAR CAPES. SOMETIMES THEY WEAR SWIMMING CAPS! 💦
