At acute projects, we are focused on providing quality services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us. Check back later for new updates to our website. Acute Project offers a new type of digital interactive media for both the client and the builder. This media will clearly show the client and

the builder exactly what the design will look like and the method of construction. With this new form of media the client doesn't have to know anything about architectural graphics or terminology (floor plans, sections,

elevations & construction documents) to have a clear understanding of what the end result will look like. This is possible through the use

of computer-rendered images and interactive video. This media will be taken one step further by using it in the construction documents as well. The builder will be provided with an interactive

video rendering of the entire building containing both visual photographic quality images and construction specs. Every last detail will be

worked out in three dimensions in such a way that anyone who knows how to use a computer will be able to access and understand this

——Designed as a retreat for two, HORIZONTÉ dispenses with many of the usual domestic negotiations: unnecessary rooms, ceremonial corridors, and the mysterious guest bedroom reserved for people one rarely invites. Instead, the plan revolves around more essential matters—sleeping, bathing, eating, swimming, watching the light change, and occasionally doing absolutely nothing with considerable sophistication.

The result is not really a beach house in the conventional sense. It is closer to a carefully framed pause: a place where architecture steps aside just enough for the landscape to become the main event.

—Ponta Mamoli, Mozambique

HORIZONTÉ is a villa for two people who have decided, quite reasonably, that the rest of the world can wait. Set into the dunes of Ponta Mamoli, it is less interested in announcing itself than in quietly occupying the best seat in the house: somewhere between coastal thicket, sand and an uninterrupted Indian Ocean horizon.

The architecture is deliberately simple, although simplicity, as architects know, is usually the most complicated thing to achieve. A thin floating roof, stone walls that appear to have wandered in from the landscape, warm timber, deep shade and large openings reduce the building to a few carefully controlled gestures. Nothing is particularly eager to impress. Even the walls seem to understand that the ocean has already won that competition.

High-End Luxury Retreat Villas

Here, luxury is measured differently: privacy, silence, space, material honesty, and the increasingly extravagant privilege of having nowhere else you need to be.

The architecture does not attempt to improve upon the wilderness. That would be rather ambitious. Instead, it frames it, inviting you to sit beside the water, watch light move across stone, hear the bush beyond the glass, and perhaps remember that life was occurring perfectly well before your calendar became involved.

Because ultimately, the most luxurious room may simply be the one that makes you forget to check the time.

Less architecture. More presence.

——SITE PROGRESS, STEYN CITY.

The most satisfying phase of architecture isn’t the first sketch or the handover. It’s this moment—when materials begin speaking the same language, proportions settle into harmony, and the building quietly confirms that the original idea was worth believing in.

——Imagine a lazy Sunday afternoon here. The water is perfectly still, the breeze edits the silence, and the architecture performs its most difficult trick: making absolutely nothing feel like the most important thing you’ll do all day. That’s not indulgence. That’s good design.

——Designed for a young family in Blue Hills Country Estate, this villa explores the delicate balance between permanence and play. Monumental stone anchors the home to the earth, while glass dissolves its boundaries, allowing gardens, water and sky to become equal participants in everyday life.

The architecture never raises its voice. Long horizontal planes, carefully framed courtyards and generous overhangs create a quiet confidence, one that understands true luxury has no need to announce itself. Every arrival is choreographed, every vista deliberately borrowed, and every material chosen not simply to age, but to become more beautiful with time.

Even the sculpture at the entrance appears to bow in gratitude, as though architecture itself has paused to admire the home it has become.

Because the finest houses are never really about square metres or expensive finishes. They are about giving children room to wonder, giving parents room to breathe, and creating spaces where ordinary Tuesdays quietly become extraordinary memories.

Perhaps that is the highest form of luxury: a home that doesn’t merely shelter a family, but gently teaches them how to live well.
