Classic design, exceptional talent and a portfolio of satisfied customers set Thesen House Shop apart as the Garden Route’s interior design and decorating establishment of choice. Sharing a passion for beautiful things and classic style, co-owners Jacqueline Lamprecht and Regina van der Vyver, have been instrumental in turning spaces into homes for 14 years. Believing that a home should reflect the owner’s needs and wants, this formidable team takes as much care in helping a browsing customer choose a lamp as decorating a mansion.
“We like to get involved in the interior design from the very start, when the architects are being called in. We spend a lot of time at the residence and with our clients and develop their house with them. A home should reflect who the owners are,” says Jacqueline.
“Attention to detail is important and we assist in all aspects of interior design including colour choices for paint, flooring and finishes. With some of the best artists living on the Garden Route, we can even commission specifically for a project.” “There is nothing that we will not arrange or source. We have top class upholsterers who produce only the very best furniture to detailed specifications. We can arrange for furniture to be custom-made to match a special antique find, and will go out of our way to source even small things like photo frames and coffee table books.”
“We understand that clients value special pieces that have classic appeal and can one day be passed on to a following generation. We believe in timeless elegance and classic style that is beautiful yet functional and comfortable.”
