De Kleipot was established in 2009 when owner Petro van Zyl started experimenting with hand-made tiles. The business quickly grew, with new ranges and designs surfacing annually. The studio is situated on the Aan de Doorns Farm, where ladies help with the tile production and painting. Products vary from mosaic inserts, magnets, key-rings, to different tiles ranges. These tile ranges include: Art Nouveau, heart- and flower tiles, floor tiles (specially made not to wear), outdoor tiles and different shaped wall tiles. We also do specialized work for individual clients. De Kleipot prides itself on not stagnating, always moving forward and aspiring to create cost-effective, top quality hand-crafted products. Should you not be able to visit our showroom (we are open to public by appointment), we can gladly courier you your order. We also exhibit at big Expo's like SA Decorex in the CTICC, Homemakers Expo in the CTICC and SARCDA in the Gallaghar Estate. Also come say Hi at the Rondebosch Potters market, or at various Christmas Markets. Our target market doesn't just include architects, interior designers, artists, homemakers and builders, but also the everyday creative.
