Why Every Gardener (and Chef) Needs Nasturtiums

If you are looking for a plant that works double-time in the garden, look no further than the humble nasturtium. These vibrant, easy-to-grow beauties are the ultimate garden multitaskers.

Here is why we love them:

100% Edible: From the fiery petals to the round leaves, every part of this plant is edible. They have a delightful, peppery kick similar to rocket or radishes. Perfect for elevating summer salads or blending into a gourmet pesto!

Natural Pest Control: Nasturtiums make the perfect companion plant. They act as a "trap crop," naturally drawing aphids and caterpillars away from your valuable vegetables.

Pollinator Magnets: Their bright red, orange, and yellow blooms are irresistible to bees and butterflies, boosting pollination throughout your entire garden.

Thrive on Neglect: Unlike many fussy plants, nasturtiums actually prefer poorer soils. Too much fertilizer leads to massive leaf growth but fewer flowers, making them incredibly low-maintenance.

Whether you have a sprawling garden or a few containers, nasturtiums are a must-have.
