STAY WARM, YZERFONTEIN! 🐱❤️
With all this unusual spring rain, your garden is getting a much-needed drink — but don’t forget to fertilize! 🌿🌸
Rain helps nutrients move into the soil, but heavy or repeated rain can also wash nutrients away. Once excess water has drained and the soil is moist, it’s a great time to give your plants a boost.
🌱 General garden: Atlantic 2:3:2
🌸 Flowers & roses: Atlantic Rose & Flower
🍊 Citrus & fruit trees: Atlantic Fruit & Citrus 3:1:5
🌿 Lawns & leafy plants: Atlantic Lawn Fertiliser
💧 Liquid feeding: Protek products for an extra nutritional boost
Small, regular feeds are better than one heavy application. And remember — don’t fertilize waterlogged soil. Let the excess water drain first.
🌧️ Healthy plants love the rain… but they still need feeding!

🌸 DID YOU FORGET TO SOW YOUR BOKBAAI VYGIES THIS WINTER? 🌸

Don't worry, we've got you covered!

This weekend, get 10% OFF all available Bokbaai Vygies in 6-packs and 12 cm pots! 🌱

Plant them now and enjoy an amazing display of colour this spring! 💗🌸

And don't worry when the flowering season is finished — with the right care, you can prepare for an even bigger and better show next spring!

🌱 HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BOKBAAI VYGIES

☀️ Plant in full sun
They love sunshine and flower best with plenty of direct sunlight.

💧 Water regularly while establishing
Once established, don't overwater. Allow the soil to dry slightly between watering.

🌸 Don't overfeed
Too much fertiliser can give you lots of leaves but fewer flowers.

🌱 Let some flowers go to seed
When the flowering season is finished, allow some seed heads to dry naturally. The seeds can fall and grow, or you can collect them and sow them for an even bigger display next season!

Plant now → Enjoy spring colour → Save the seeds → Grow an even bigger display next year! 🌸
