💧 “There was some leaking grossness happening in the shower…” 😂

Meet the one and only Kaz from Bayswater!

After discovering her shower was leaking into the adjoining bedroom cupboard, Kaz and Josh tried the old "she'll be right" approach. A trip to Bunnings for some paint and a bit of wishful thinking. 😅

Unfortunately, the leaking grossness had other plans!

A few small cracks. A much bigger problem underneath.

Simon’s bathroom in Floreat was starting to show the signs — leaking around the floor seams, cracking along the lower walls, plus mould and deteriorating grout elsewhere.
Grout Technician Jarrod stepped in with a 2-wall and floor regrout, stripping out the problem areas and giving the bathroom a fresh, clean reset.

Winter is when a compromised shower seal gets found out. Spring is when it's easiest to actually get it fixed.

The humidity and heavier bathroom use of the last few months tend to expose any weak points in the grout or silicone that were already there. If you've noticed more mould than usual, or a musty smell that won't shift, that's often the tail end of winter showing you a problem that's been building for a while.

Getting it sorted now, before the warmer months and before spring cleaning turns into a longer list than you meant it to be, means one job off the list instead of it sitting there until next winter reminds you again.

A full shower regrout takes around half a day, and the shower's back in use within 24 hours. No tiles removed, and it's backed by a 10-year waterproof warranty.
