🔨 WE’RE HIRING — WORKING SITE SUPERVISOR / SKILLED MULTI-TRADESPERSON
📍 Kinder Kitchens, New Mills
💷 £38,000–£43,000 a year, with flexibility for the right experience
Full-time, employed position
Are you practical, organised and good with people? We’re looking for an experienced tradesperson to take responsibility for preparing and supporting our kitchen projects, helping everything run smoothly for our customers and fitting team.
This is a hands-on role organising and supporting kitchen installations. Our kitchen fitters carry out the main kitchen fitting—you’ll prepare the way, support their work and make sure the finishing details are taken care of.
What you’ll do:
• Carry out site visits, record measurements and prepare clear fitting notes.
• Remove old kitchens and carry out room preparation within your skills.
• Coordinate with plumbers, electricians, plasterers and kitchen fitters.
• Protect customers’ homes and keep sites clean, tidy and organised.
• Help deliver kitchens and check that materials are ready when needed.
• Complete finishing work, including skirting, architraves and snagging.
• Help with repairs, aftercare and occasional bespoke joinery.
Who we’re looking for:
You might be a joiner, kitchen fitter, experienced multi-tradesperson or working supervisor looking for a varied, permanent role.
You’ll need practical experience, energy and initiative, good organisation and a friendly, patient manner with customers. We want someone who takes pride in doing a job properly and keeps people informed.
A full driving licence is required. You’ll need to get yourself to our New Mills base; a company van is available for work duties. We’re particularly keen to hear from people within roughly a 30-minute commute.
What we offer:
✅ £38,000–£43,000 salary, with flexibility for the right person
✅ Monday–Friday, 8am–4.30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
✅ 22 days’ holiday plus 8 bank holidays
✅ Workplace pension
✅ Company van for work use
✅ Some flexibility within a small, independent business
✅ The opportunity to take real responsibility and help shape how we work
