Our next project coming up. We will be installing hardie siding and then installing standing seam over the porches and composite on the sloped section of the roof.

I dont know why i keep getting pre world war 1 buildings to work on but its pretty cool to tear something apart and see how well its held up for over 100 years!

We are replacing yhis old flat roof. We will be installing the malarkey omniseal system. We are installing yhe 3 ply system not the 2 ply system because we go above and beyond to make sure its done correctly! Ice and water shield. Then a base sheet. Then the actual cap.

Theres stlll a lot to do on this old farm house. We will be doing siding as well once the interior repairs are done.

Listen i want to prove to home owners that theyre getting ripped off by roofing salesmen and big companies charging 6,7,8, 9 dollars a square foot.

So let me break it down for you.

Contractor material costs about $1.65 to over $2 a square foot for standard roofing material not luxury or presidential.

Everything else is mark up and labor.

Subcontractor labor cost $1 a square foot for simple roof layouts and can go as high at $2 a square foot for luxury roofing installs. ( I do the work myself )

I charge $4-$5.50 a square foot depending on the roof.
I charge $1.20 for demo and $1.20 for install unless its steep then its a little more. I have a modest 10% markup on material. I dont make my money by selling material. I make my money by getting the job done. The markup on material helps to pay for overhead. I have 2 million dollar insurance to make sure if something does go wrong your home is covered.🤷

Those ads saying 7999.99 for a roof are a scam to get you to overpay them so they can hire guys like me!

Fixing farm houses!

Well this old farm house had some issues.

First of all just because you can doesn't mean you should!
A second layer of shingles caused these stick framed trusses to buckle.
So we had to climb in and brace then in order to level the roof deck for the metal roof install that coming next.

Listen as a professional roofer im going to tell you NOT TO DO A SECOND LAYER UNLESS ITS AN EMERGENCY OR INSURANCE IS FORCING YOU TO DO SOMETHING IMMEDIATELY.

ITS NOT HOW YOU SAVE MONEY IN FACT YOU WILL PAY DOUBLE FOR DEMO IN THE FUTURE. BECAUSE THE ROOF WON'T LAST AS LONG WITH TWO LAYERS AND YOU WILL BE REPPACING IT IN ABOUT 10-15 YEARS

HOUSE FLIPPERS DO IT AND ITS DEPLORABLE BEHAVIOR ESPECIALLY WHEN NOT DISCLOSING IT TO THE BUYERS.

Next we will be installing new fascia and and metal roof in burgandy.

In the spring we will be remodeling the siding.

Hey treasure valley. This is how salesmen find roofer to do the work for them.

They literally connot do the work themselves. So they reach out and find a different company to do the work for them.

Its manipulative and against consumer protection laws if they dont give you written notice of the subcontractor who is working on your home.

Dont h**e a salesmen who is going to use a post like this to find the cheapest contractor available to do the work.

Simply hire a tradesman like me.

There are over 450 roofing contractors in the treasure valley...

AND ONLY ABOUT 40% OF US ACTUALLY DO THE WORK.

THE REST OF THEM ARE RIPPING YOU OFF AND THEN HIRING THOSE OF US THAT DO THE WORK TO DO IT FOR THEM.

Home owners. You need to be doing research otherwise youlll end up paying double what it actually should cost to get your roof replaced

Ask if they use subcontractors. Then reques that they DO NOT use them on your home. They most likely cant even get the work done.

If they use subcontractors and do not give you a list of subcontractors working on your home BEFORE YOU SIGN A CONTRACT then they are in violation of consumer protection laws and could be held accountable!

Its time to clean up the industry and it starts with homeowners refusing to work with the overpriced salesmen and trademen refusing to subcontract for them.

Grateful Phoenix bro we already know what you're going to say about the natural shadow shingles.

I DISAGREE. The natural Shadow shingle is a great budget shingle I sell them a lot to a lot of my clients who are looking for the lowest bid they can get.

However I do sell all major brands of shingles that are available in the valley. I sell and install Owens corning, malarkey, certainteed, gaf.
The only shingles I'm not selling or pabco and Iko and that's because every time I go to do a wind damage repair it's always those two brands.

Whether you're looking for the lowest bid possible, a mid grade option roof, or luxury options to just do it once and never think about your roof again I've got you covered!

I was told by another contractor that i have to think of employees like material or any other facet of the job.

I told him ill never do that! I will never think of people as things and that we fundimentally disagree about morality.

I decide then i will never be a rich man because i dont have the heart to step on other people backs to get to where i want to be.

So i decide to focus on serving my community.

100% local.
I do most of the work myself or with help from a few other small contractors.
I offer a 30 year or lifetime of the composite roof warranty. Which means i guarantee we do it right the first time.
Pricing starting at $4 a square foot depending on the complexity and matrial we use on the roof.
All last year i was 50% of my competition.

I put people first and money second. End of story.
