To everyone who was unable to place a HOCO order with Bloomwoods, we sincerely apologize. We know homecoming is a special occasion, and we’re so deeply sorry we couldn’t accommodate everyone.

With Harris County’s rescheduled homecoming, we were balancing orders for two homecomings, multiple weddings and our daily customers. We were also working with a smaller team while one employee was away on a mission trip.

Most of our staff worked over 50 hours, and the owners worked over 70—more hours than we typically work for Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day. Even with those efforts, we reached our capacity and ran out of flowers needed to accept additional orders.

HOCO designs often involve detailed, personalized work, and each order deserves our time and attention. As much as we want to help everyone, accepting more than we can thoughtfully complete would mean falling short of the quality you expect from us.

Ordering in advance (ideally a week ahead) helps us plan for fresh flowers and staffing, giving us the best opportunity to serve you during these busy occasions.

It’s never easy to close orders or turn a customer away. We’re truly sorry for any disappointment, and we’re grateful for your understanding, your support and the trust you place in Bloomwoods.

We’re enjoying seeing all of the HOCO photos.

This gorgeous plump pumpkin is our next flower arranging workshop at FLORA — W**e ✿ Art ✿ Flowers Flora.

Cost is $85 and well worth it as she is such a nice size centerpiece.
Pumpkin is already to design in. We are using wet foam so super easy to make and fill with your choice of blooms from our bloom bar we are providing. So choose the blooms and colors from the selection we have curated.

As blooms fade simply remove and add a few fresh blooms. This will last about a week with some blooms lasting longer and actually drying. Plus we are using some dried fall leaves too.

It’s going to be great fun. We have seats available still and you can book at the link in our bio or at Floras bio. $40 to reserve and balance paid at the end of your evening. Plus you can enjoy w**e or a mocktail during or after.

Located downtown Columbus. Park in the parking garage and walk over to the rapids area.

They offer lots of workshops and we come once a month on the third Thursday.
