Feeling incredibly grateful and proud to have Design Poole recognized as a 2027 NEWH TopID firm alongside so many talented and respected firms in our industry!

What makes this recognition especially meaningful is the amazing team I have the privilege of working with every day. Their creativity, dedication, and unwavering support are what make Design Poole so special. I am truly thankful for each of them! ❤️

We had a wonderful evening celebrating together, although we certainly missed having Jaymie Mistry with us! She is such an important part of our DPI family and shares equally in this honor.

Heartfelt thank you to the NEWH Sunshine Chapter for supporting the Central Florida hospitality community!

We are beyond honored to be recognized as a 2027 NEWH TopID recipient at the NEWH Sunshine Chapter’s A Night for the Faithful Gala!

An unforgettable evening filled with mystery, glamour, and a little treachery at the Round Table.

Beyond the celebration, we are honored to support NEWH’s mission of providing educational opportunities and scholarships to deserving students pursuing careers in our industry.

We are so proud of our incredible team and grateful to NEWH for this recognition and for celebrating the creativity, passion, and talent within our hospitality design community.

One thing is certain… Design Poole is proud to be among the Faithful! ✨

So excited to share that Design Poole has been nominated for Top ID by both the NEWH Sunshine Chapter and NEWH Toronto Chapter! ✨

We’re incredibly proud to have both our U.S. and Canadian studios recognized alongside so many talented firms in our industry.

Even more exciting, both chapter events will take place on October 15, making it an extra special night for the Design Poole team.

We’re honored by the recognition and can’t wait to celebrate with our NEWH communities! 🤍

BEHIND THE DESIGN | Reimagining a Legacy Hotel

The BEFORE + AFTER may be what you see. But the strategy, collaboration and trust between them is where the real work happens.

This Virginia Beach property has evolved over decades and generations of family ownership. Now, as it begins its next chapter as a Hotel Indigo, we're working within layers of existing conditions to reimagine what this property can become, knowing what to keep, what to change, where to invest and which design decisions are worth protecting.

Transformations like this don't happen without trust. We're incredibly grateful to the ownership and management teams for the confidence they've placed in Design Poole, and to our construction and manufacturing partners for bringing these model rooms to life so beautifully.

We're proud of what these model rooms demonstrate and even more excited about what's still to come. The guestrooms are just the beginning. We can't wait to share what's next!

"Sound of Design" – Mimi Dolan

Big energy. Full heart. No holding back.

Inspired by live music and artists like The Revivalists, Mimi’s rhythm is all about showing up, completely and unapologetically.

“All In” says it best.

Having Mimi come full circle back into my life and into this team has been something truly special, one of those moments you don’t take for granted.

"Sound of Design" – Lindsay Spraul

Focus. Refinement. Intention.

Inspired by Saturday night dance vibes, Lindsay’s rhythm is all about clarity, confidence, and a standard that never wavers.

“Prosecco Precision” captures that balance,
high-energy focus by day, a little sparkle by night.

Celebrating Lindsay this month… with just the right amount of sparkle.

Happy 12-year work anniversary and happy birthday!

Built on Partnership. Finished with Purpose.

Great hospitality design is rarely defined by one dramatic moment.

It's created through hundreds of intentional decisions working together in perfect balance.

The warmth of beautifully crafted casegoods. The richness of layered textures. The harmony between paint, fabric, carpet, lighting, and every carefully considered finish. When each element is thoughtfully selected and expertly executed, a space doesn't just look beautiful, it feels effortless.

The newly photographed guestrooms and public spaces at Delta Hotels Halifax are a celebration of craftsmanship, collaboration, and the power of restraint. Sophisticated materials, timeless detailing, and a calm, balanced palette create an experience that welcomes guests from the moment they arrive.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible partners who helped bring this vision to life:
• BermanFalk for exceptional custom guestroom casegoods, where precision and craftsmanship elevate even the simplest details.
• Erica Shamrock for providing beautiful, richly textured fabrics that add warmth, comfort, and sophistication throughout the hotel.
• Royal Thai for stunning custom carpets that establish rhythm, movement, and elegance throughout the corridors and meeting spaces.
• RHB for exceptional custom mirrors and decorative lighting that enhance every space with visual interest and timeless style.

Design is never about a single material or finish.

It's about the balance between them all.
