Harvesting rare ‘Golden’ variety avocados:
An avocado so good you can happily eat it by itself!

This is a rare variety which originated from southwest FL as a seedling of a Florida-type avocado - you know, the impressively large-fruited ones which are disappointingly watery; which couldn’t be more different in flavor!

The fruit exterior ripens to a bright chartreuse, and when you cut it open it has a surprisingly warm yellow color!

The flesh is quite firm and oily, and has a buttery, nutty, savory flavor reminiscent of pistachio and chestnuts!

Very delicious!

We are BACK Saturday Morning Market
for the last few weeks of summer!

Right now, we have some awesome botanical offerings for your garden as well as your taste buds! Today we have our fresh batch of Ylang-Ylang bottled from our own trees! Also today us an excellent day to drop by and check out the treasures the Florida Fruit Cooperative has in store for yall - it’s a great day to try Achachairu - AKA Bolivian mangosteen, one of the BEST fruit out there in our opinion, and if you come soon you may even be able to snag a red sugar apple! We can’t wait to dry a drizzle of this ylang ylang syrup on a slice of these super hard to find fruit!

2026 Ylang-Ylang harvest is popping off!

Here you can see a Ylang-Ylang flower in the process of being extracted to make our signature edible ‘Flower Nectar’

Look closely and you can see the water content of the fresh-picked flower (visible as thread-like layers of distortion around the petal surfaces) as it infuses into the pure organic coconut oil-derived glycerol. With careful technique during the initial stages of the process, a uniform extraction of the flower’s fragrance is attained.

Alternative to the manner in which alcohol extractions or tea work, there is no significant chemical alteration, and the plant matter is never dried, nor heated.

This allows the nature of the fresh flower to be preserved and employed as a flavor for enjoyment straight, in culinary or mixology uses and much more!

What’s more is ylang-ylang flowers are a highly medicinal herb, with therapeutic benefits regarding depression, stress/anxiety, candida overgrowth, and has been studied for its potential effect on multiple deadly cancer cell lines! It also is a mood enhancer and euphoric! Furthermore the FDA regards the essential oil of ylang-ylang (many times more concentrated than this gentle extract) as an acceptable food additive, generally recognized as safe in small amounts. This extraction captures the full spectrum of constituents these blooms have to offer rather than just those captured in essential oil.

We are rebranding a bit this season but once these babies are labeled they will be up on the site and available for purchase! Until then, we are doing early bird promo pricing on these:

25$ per 2oz dropper bottle
