A donation blanket went to this beautiful human. Susan Freylack, my cousin. Susan, affectionately known as "Grandma Sue" or "GS," has had her share of adversity in this life, but when our "round" of babies happened, GS didn't have grandkids and became our children's surrogate grandma. GS and our family have had a special bond for pretty much my whole life. Unfortunately life has thrown some curveballs in both of our lives and we call her the curveball queen! Those curveballs have taken away from the time we get to see each other, but she will always be Grandma Sue to my family! She just had a recent medical scare and we are grateful she has "18 lives" because that is probably how many times she has been tested medically speaking. "Snuggles" is one of Sue's favorite states of being ... her blankie will help! Thank you to Stay Cozy Creative Co for your generous donation.

The cutest thing happened at my last show. A young woman came over and was admiring the Packer inspired blanket I created and was thinking about buying it, but wanted to roam around and look at the other items at the show. While she was off shopping around, her mom came over and secretly bought the blanket. Just before the show was done on the second day, the young woman came back looking to buy the blanket and was sad it was gone. Just as the look on her face showed disappointment, her mom walked up to her with the purchased blanket and said "Happy Birthday!" It was SO adorable. This is why I do this. ❤

Was a cold, windy and sometimes rainy day at Cranberry Fest yesterday! That didn’t stop anyone from coming down and wandering the festival grounds. What better to have on a day like that but a cozy blankie?

This one had the right idea. Mom didn’t even want a bag, and sweet little one was warm, cozy and safe with her new blankie!

There may be a bit of a chill in the air and possibly a little frost on the tent, but the sun is out and things are starting to heat up with a few becca’s blankies at Eagle River Cranberry Fest!

This isn’t a Becca’s blankies story, but a HEARTFELT PLEA 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻 for skein donations. A 6 year old boy is dealing with a slow growing tumor in his brain. He has been accepted by the Make-a-Wish foundation to go somewhere awesome this fall but he needs our help to stay COZY, SAFE AND WARM. At such a young age, he is dealing with some big things and really needs some “cozy cuddles!” Please consider one or more skeins to get this guy a snuggly blankie!! If I were independently wealthy, I would be giving them all away, but alas I need YOUR HELP! Thank you in advance to anyone who considers a donation.
