Between the Breaths | A Death Café

As the seasonal wheel turns toward Samhain, and the veil between worlds is said to grow thin, we are invited to linger in the mystery of what lies between the breaths. Between beginnings and endings. Between what we know and what remains unseen.

Not to find answers, but to make room for curiosity, reflection, and the conversations we so often leave unspoken.

Join us this Sunday, October 25th at 1 PM, as death doula Neera facilitates our final Ram Dass Fellowship gathering of 2026.

An invitation to step across the threshold into elderhood, reclaiming the sacred place of elder women within a rewilded community, and honoring the wisdom and sacred rites we carry with us.

Our Final Ram Dass Rhode Island Fellowship Gathering of 2026

This Sunday, October 25, we'll be gathering for something a little different as we close out another season of fellowship at the farmstead.

One of our fellowship community members, Neera, who serves as a death doula, has offered to bring *Between the Breaths*, a special Death Café gathering, to our community.

As we approach Samhain, what a fitting time to come together over tea and conversation to explore death, dying, and what it means to be alive.

We have a few spaces remaining and would love for you to join us!

A Special Offering for This Fiery Season

There is a lot of darkness being illuminated right now.

Stories of women and girls. Of power, silence, violation, survival and truth-telling. And in this season of the witch, under Venus retrograde, I can feel something fiery stirring in the sacred feminine in response.

Grief. Rage. Remembering. Reclamation.

Some of what is stirring may be ours.

Some ancestral. Some, perhaps, even older still.

If what is unfolding in the world is activating something tender or fierce within you, I am offering a safe space to discharge some of that energy.

Heart-to-Heart Tea Times
Sacred space for whatever is stirring.

A quiet, private space to sit together over a pot of tea and give whatever is moving some room to breathe.

Nothing to fix. Nothing you need to explain. Nothing you need to share beyond what feels right.

Sometimes the fire simply needs somewhere safe to burn.

The crown returns. The Crones are gathering.

I’m so happy to share that we will be holding our second Red Tent Croning Ceremony here at the farmstead on Halloween, October 31st at noon.

Last year’s ceremony was deeply moving, and in the months since, I’ve heard from women who wished they had known about it — or who discovered it afterward and said, I needed that.

So here is this year’s invitation.

As we gather at the threshold of Samhain, in the season of the witch and the wise woman, we’ll come together to reclaim the archetype of the Crone and all of her blessed power, wisdom, mystery, and deep inner knowing.

Women in all seasons of life are welcome — whether you are ready to cross the threshold into Cronehood, wish to reclaim the crown, or feel called to sit in circle and bear witness.

Our circle will hold up to 13 women, allowing us to keep this ceremony intimate and deeply held.
